The Vereniging Textielindustrie Nederland (VTN) has a radar function. VTN members are therefore regularly posted up on national and international developments in the area of textiles. It is important for VTN to maintain intensive contacts with its own members and with national and international authorities and organizations.

Furthermore, VTN's activities include the organization of informative meetings, workshops and congresses. Its members thus have the opportunity to share knowledge and experience.

VTN also provides assistance to individual companies, for instance with business-economic or trade problems.
